Description: Land manager’s objections to beaver center around 3 problem areas, too much flooding, plugging of infrastructure such as culverts and diversions, and destruction of desirable trees. This webinar will provide an introduction to techniques used to mitigate these problems and provide for peaceful coexistence with beaver. Mike Callahan, Owner of Beaver Solutions, LLC will address management of beaver pond levels, culvert protective fences, drainage structures, tree protection, and fish passage at beaver dams. This webinar will provide you with knowledge of the tools available for living with beavers so that you can be prepared to discuss these issues with land managers.
