Join WLFW and NRCS staff at CattleCon 2025, Booth 3727. Be sure to come to the Learning Lounge on Thursday, February 6, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. for our “Ranchers as Conservationists” presentation.
WLFW is thrilled to be at CattleCon 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. WLFW staff, along with NRCS staff and landowners from across the country, will be at the WLFW booth for the duration of the show. Come by and learn how NRCS programs and the Working Lands for Wildlife approach to voluntary conservation on private lands can help your operation while benefiting wildlife.
Our booth will feature our incredible America’s Grassland Exhibit, which highlights the importance of resilient grasslands and the impacts to ecosystem services resulting from degradation through encroaching woodlands. This impressive 30’ x 40’ display features mural panels illustrating the threat of woody encroachment with a brand new panel, specific to Texas. The talented artist who created this beautiful exhibit, Ram Papish, will also be at the booth, so come by and check it out!
The WLFW booth will also include interactive elements, including an interactive panel on personal conservation connections and a search and find activity and temporary tattoos for children.
NRCS staff will be able to provide landowner assistance, including opportunities to engage with NRCS field staff, scientists, and fellow ranchers who have worked with NRCS and Working Lands for Wildlife.
Join WLFW leadership, scientists, and a rancher on Thursday, February 6, from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. for an engaging presentation called “Ranchers as Conservationists: The Working Lands for Wildlife Approach.”
