Hotel & Travel Information

All meetings will take place at the Manhattan Conference Center, 410 South 3rd Street, Manhattan, Kansas.

There will be shuttles from area hotels to bring participants to and from the Manhattan Conference Center. There will not be shuttles for the Hilton Garden Inn, Fairfield by Marriott, or Holiday Inn Express as these hotels are in walking distance.

Below is the shuttle schedule for Wednesday and Thursday morning. Please note there is no shuttle on Wednesday after the reception at the Flint Hills Discovery Center to allow folks to explore downtown Manhattan. On Thursday evening, there will be a shuttle when the buses arrive back from the tours.

Note for booking flights: The Manhattan, Kansas, airport will be closed for renovations during the time of the Workshop. You will need to fly into Kansas City International Airport (airport code: MCI) or Wichita National Airport (airport code: ICT). Both airports are approximately 2 hours from Manhattan, Kansas.

Working Lands for Wildlife has reserved room blocks in hotels throughout Manhattan. The deadline to book a hotel room at the negotiated rates is June 12, 2023, or when the block fills up. Please note that only certain hotels have negotiated rates for government employees.
